Children are precious to the Lord. The Old Testament writers tells us they are a gift from Him, and so we take a few moments every year to invite young families to dedicate the lives of their children back to God. It's a promise made by both the parents and the church, to do their very best to raise the children in a Christ-honoring way, and instill in them a love for Him and His word.
