Infinite Youth at First Baptist Church is for teenagers in grades 7-12 throughout San Juan County. We exist to partner with parents to make disciples who can make more disciples of Jesus Christ as we experience and share God's infinite love. Through Bible Studies, weekly activities and annual big events, we seek to provide a place for your teenagers to find purpose, find their identity in Christ, and understand what life is really all about.
Sunday Small Group Bible Study
Youth Sunday small group Bible study groups meet every Sunday at 9:30 am in our Plaza and are led by a trusted team of volunteer adult church members. Youth will be encouraged to study Scripture from the perspective of applying it to their daily lives. Adult teachers in each class are committed to helping youth grow deep in their walk with God in a fun, age appropriate atmosphere.
Youth Worship
Infinite Youth is our Wednesday evening Youth Worship Service at 6:30 pm in our Chapel, this time is filled with Worship, Bible study, games, and a lot more. We meet every Wednesday during the school year, with breaks during fall break, Christmas break, and spring break.
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
Acts 4.13 (ESV)
Power Lunch
Power Lunch is two things:
1) A free lunch provided by the food services team of our church.
2) A student-led Bible devotion during that lunch period.
Power Lunch is held on local school campuses once a month during the school year.
Annual Events
Each year we have multiple events for our youth to help them grow in their personal walk with God in the context of a life-giving community of their peers. Youth can participate in events such as summer camp, local and international mission trips, and various outreach projects.
