FBC Bloomfield is on-mission

Missions isn't just part of what we do – it's who we are. Matthew 28:19 says, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." We've been called to live an on-mission lifestyle wherever we go, at all times.

Mexico City (CDMX)

The population of Mexico City has doubled since 1970 making it one of the most populous cities in the world at almost 21 million residents –– and placing it high on the list of cities that are in dire need of the gospel. Through our partnerships in CDMX, we engage with lostness by hosting public events, ministering to college students, and supporting local churches.
August 1 - 10

This year, our work with our CDMX mission partners will be specific to Chiapas, Mexico. Located In the southern part of the country and home to 5.5 million people, it’s also the base of operations for Village Global Children’s Home – an organization that rescues children from human trafficking. We will work alongside missionaries Trey and Ashley Fuller (as well as other missionaries serving in this area) to host a VBS, do some needed construction work on a transitional housing facility, minister at a local school, and participate in community outreach in the community. We’ll also meet with and have the opportunity to encourage the persecuted church community in Chiapas.

A cultural melting pot on Canada's west coast, Vancouver boasts one of the highest cost-of-living rates in the continent, making it a city that has little time to consider Jesus or his message. The mission of our partners in Vancouver is to make people see their need for Christ by demonstrating his love.
October 10 - 17

Trinity Western University (TWU) is pivotal mission field for our Vancouver partners, New Song Community Church. Unlike the summer when many university students return home, in October the campus is bustling. TWU is the largest Christian school in Canada. However, it is increasingly becoming Christian in name only. Students often graduate with more skepticism of the Bible than had when they enrolled. Nevertheless, the opportunities to witness there are abundant. Our desire is to sow the seed of the gospel, call students to faith, and raise up Christian leaders by manifesting Christ’s love through service.

London is one of the oldest and most established metropolitan areas on the map, but its spiritual background is clouded in millenia of complexity and confusion. We partner with missionaries in the city to help shine the light of Jesus by proclaiming clearly the message of hope and salvation found in God's word.
July 12 - 19

As the first team to visit our new London missionary partners, we’ll engage the lost people of South London in everyday places with the purpose of sharing the gospel. We’ll also integrate with believers in the local church and other ministry partners in the area for fellowship and encouragement. We’ll spend time each morning in the Word, praying and training the team in order to develop tools and skills that will be useful not just in London, but here in the U.S. as well.
