We are excited about our children’s ministry here at FBC Bloomfield. Here kids begin to explore the depths of God’s truth and love in a personal way as they grow in wisdom, faith and friendship. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last in order to forge a vibrant relationship with Christ!
Our goal is simple: We exist to partner with families to fuel faith in the next generation. We believe each child’s experience should always be…
We use activities, games, songs and more to bring God’s Word to life for kids. Children have the opportunity to experience different settings such as small group Bible study, TeamKid, camps, V.B.S. and much more. Children will learn, grow and simply have a blast.
Every week, your child will learn to understand and apply God’s Word. Each week’s lesson builds upon a foundational truth found in Scripture. Our teachers are passionate about teaching and living the truth of the Bible.
The most important thing we can do is point children toward a personal relationship with the most important figure that ever lived – Jesus Christ. He is the center of all we teach and do.
We believe the best context for maximum impact is the gift of relationships. Therefore, we’re committed to combine the love of the family with the light of the church to form deep relationships that will be there when a child needs them the most.
SAFE AND SECURE
When you arrive, a friendly volunteer will be ready to help you get your kids checked in. Parents of babies - 3 year olds are issued a pager at check-in and parents of preschool - kindergarten are issued a security card. Only an adult in possession of the pager or card is allowed to pick up your child. Safety is top priority! All our workers have complete background checks to ensure our kids are protected.
We hope you and your child are ready to learn, grow, and have a great time at FBC Bloomfield.
Sunday Bible Study
This is the Sunday morning portion of our children’s ministry that meets at 9:30am every Sunday. We focus on teaching and making sure the children have the firm biblical foundation that they need to live a Christian life. Our children’s ministry is based on three basic truths found in Luke 2:52; And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. (NIV)
It's our desire to see children grow in wisdom, stature and favor as Jesus did! We hope that you will make this an integral part of your child's life and we are looking forward to seeing you!
This portion of our children’s ministry meets on Wednesday's from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. It allows the children to put into action all that they've learned on Sunday Morning. This is where they learn that it's not all about me; it's all about Christ and sharing His love with others.
TeamKID is our children's program that your kids are sure to love! It is an interactive, energetic evening of missions learning and activities, games, Bible stories, and learning Bible verses.
TeamKID kids earn points by memorizing Bible verses, bringing friends, and bringing their Bibles. Bonus points are earned by participating in class. TeamKID is for 1st-3rd graders and 4th-6th graders and runs from September to May.
Mission Friends is a missions program developed specifically for birth-kindergarten. The material focuses on learning how missionaries both local and international are able to use their resources to tell people about Jesus. We then use their methods in a similar way and help the children to be missionaries in their homes, schools, neighborhoods, and everywhere they go.
Upward Sports program strives to make having fun a priority while teaching basic sports fundamentals and skills. Kids will also learn teamwork, self-esteem and biblical values. Upwards takes place in January and February. At FBC Bloomfield, we have Upward Basketball and Upward Cheerleading.
Parents rave about our family-friendly practice and game schedules that keep your busy family’s needs and schedule in mind. We know your time is limited, so we only have a one hour practice and a one hour game each week.
